AIOU Admission & Result 2026
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) offers distance-learning admission from Matric through PhD, with Spring and Autumn intakes. Here’s where to apply and check your result officially.
Admission
Apply online for AIOU’s Matric, FA, BA/BS, MA/MSc and MPhil/PhD programmes. Admission status is usually confirmed roughly 2 months after you submit your form.
Result
Check your semester result by roll number. BS/MA/MSc and MPhil/PhD results are typically released in January and July each year.
Assignments
AIOU is assignment-based — most courses require you to submit assignments before the final exam, tracked through your student portal.
Matric & FA (open schooling)
AIOU also runs Matric and FA/Intermediate programmes for students who want to study outside a regular school/college setting.
